Great glasses, but they don't last.

I've been wearing these glasses for years because they work great. I wear these glasses all the time in my law enforcement work whenever I am driving or outside. I also have the clear Crossfires to use inside, while writing reports. In fact, I like them so much that I bought extra pairs to use at home, doing jobs around the house and yard. They're comfortable, give clear front and side vision, and because they're bifocals they allow me to see distances ahead while driving at the same time as seeing the dashboard. I would have given 5 stars, except they don't last long for me. The sidebars tend to break off, so I buy a new supply each year. They're worth it!

I need to wear sunglasses anytime I am outside and need reader-type glasses at times. These glasses fit the bill when I need to read the printing since I do not have to carry reader glasses or go back inside to get a pair.

Good and Clear

For some inexpensive safety glasses, they were very clear. The 2.5 bifocal lenses worked well for me. Good fit: not too tight. Lightweight and comfortable. My only con is that they scratch easily. I accidentally dropped them on my driveway and, of course, they got scratched right in my line of vision. But for $9 they work very well. I work at a gun range and I got these as a backup pair for some expensive prescription glasses I use.

These are light weight, seem scratch resistant and can take some dings. Best of all, I can see everything I need to without taking them off or shifting them around. I highly recommend them and will buy again if I need to.

Crossfire w/ Bifocals

I normally wear oakleys, but after purchasing these I'll be wearing them on the job site. It takes a little getting used to having the bifocal in the bottom but overall they fit well, provide good magnification, even though I only need 1.25 the 1.5 work well. I do wish the lens was a little darker though. I work in the south most of the year and could use a darker lens.

just what I needed

After cataract surgery, all of my prescription bifocals were useless and I would have to wait 2 months for my vision to stabilize before getting more. These protect my eyes and are SO MUCH better than taking readers off and on 50 times a day. The optical quality of the lenses is better than the on the alternative clear pair I ordered.
