Great shirts but sizing quite off

I love these shirts. They seem like great quality. The only problem for me is that I bought mediums and they were too small, so I exchanged them for larges which are too large. I guess if you're a small medium the medium works, or if you're a large medium the large works, but I'm 5'-11" 190 lbs and neither fit me well.

This shirt is one strong shirt I've worn these shirts for years and they always last close to 4 years before I need to cycle in new ones. They don't fade as quickly as a lot of 100% cotton shirts out there either.
