ASTM CERTIFIED - This American standard covers the requirements for the safety performance of footwear. It is to provide protection against a variety of workplace hazards.
CSA CERTIFIED - This Canadian standard covers the requirements for the safety performance of footwear. It is to provide protection against a variety of workplace hazards.
SLIP RESISTANT OUTSOLE
PROTECTIVE TOE CAP AND PROTECTIVE MIDSOLE - The boots feature a protective toecap and midsole for offering maximum protection against falling and penetrating objects. The built-in protective toecap serves to protect the toes from impacts of an energy level of 125 J and a compression at a load of 11121 N (2500lbf). The protective midsole is positioned in the sole and penetration is prevented until a force of 1200 N (270 lbf). Dunlop boots with a protective toecap and midsole are labelled as Full Safety.
WATERPROOF - The boots are 100% waterproof to keep your feet dry under wet and dirty conditions.
COLD INSULATION - Purofort® boots prevent heat loss and offer outstanding thermal properties. Due to the unique recipe and molecular structure, all Purofort boots assure excellent cold insulation down to -20 °C. And even down to -50 °C in case of Purofort Thermo+ boots. Purofort boots are classified as CI, meaning that the temperature decrease measured at the upper surface of the insole does not exceed 10 °C after 30 minutes.
FUEL OIL RESISTANT - The outsole is resistant against oil, which assures that potentially adverse effects of oily substances on the protective properties of the boots are minimized.
CHEMICAL RESISTANT - The boots offer protection against a wide variety of chemicals. The specific application with types of chemicals encountered and conditions faced will determine which boot should be opted for.
ENERGY ABSORBING - The boots feature energy absorption of the heel region which limits impact to the foot while walking. The provision of shock absorption capabilities within the footwear minimizes risk of injuries.

The boots are made well time will tell.

The only thing I don't like is the width if it was a little bit wider. Only had them a couple weeks maybe they will break in. But the quality so far is great.

Nice boots but a bit snug

Really nice boots. At first, I thought they were too large but after tucking my pant legs over them they are fine. Walking in them they are not overly heavy on my feet. The fit is a bit snug on the width and ankle. I wear a 10.5 shoe size so I bought the size 11 boot. Wish they offered an 11.5. The padded insert is ok at the heel but the pad at the front of the foot is kind of thin. I may go look for after-market inserts that are nicer. Overall I love them. Not many boots are advertised as chemical resistant explicitly. I bought them to work in a brewery where caustics are used that eat leather. If you have wide feet buy a bigger size.

Most boots run larger or true to size. This is a high-quality boot that literally fits snug, go half size up from your normal size.

My #1 Boot

Let me start with how comfortable these boots are! They really are a Snug Boot but in a good way! No painful break in either. Most comfortable boots I have ever worn! I have tried many different boots over the years and I have never gotten a pair to last longer than 8 months or so. Most begin to fail at or before 6 months. Almost always wear the back of the heel off within a few months. I just ordered my second pair of these boots and I cannot recommend them enough. At least for the oilfield. I am in over 1 year on my first pair and the soles still look almost new. The heel is pretty much perfect. Only reason I'm replacing them is the soft material on the upper is breaking down and I think it is mostly my fault from propping my feet up on various items. No leaks or cracks in the lower portion. I'm going to modify my old pair and use them at home. Hope to be able to buy these for years to come!
