Great Canvas Patch Vest

I was looking for a vest that would be easy to add military patches. Canvas, to me, was a better choice than leather. This vest will work very well. I recommend it to veterans or car club members that want to show their pride.

Great vest for the price. I bought it to use as a "Swag Vest" for an organization to which I belong. I put on a cloth logo and several pins and wear it to meetings. Heavy duty cloth, nicely made. Should last me a long time.

Ideal basic vest for adding patches.

Took a job in an after-school tutoring center where the dress code is "casual." Wanted something that looked a bit dressier than a tee-shirt and jeans, though. The center gives away patches with their logo on them. I sewed one of these high up on the left side. Looks pretty spiffy and official, I think. Black goes with everything, so I can throw the vest on over whatever else I'm wearing and I'm ready to work with my students while feeling I look presentable to their parents. Sturdy construction with no frills. Single-layer of fabric made hand-sewing the patch onto it easy. Has two small pockets that are useful for flat things, but anything bulky would spoil the line, so don't use them for your car keys. This was exactly what I needed at a very reasonable price.

Great for Adult Men's Girl Scout vest

I am an adult leader for my daughter's Girl Scout troop, but the uniform options available to men are extremely lacking. The largest supposedly unisex vest they have is a Women's 5X, which is too narrow in the shoulders and broad at the waist to be of any use to me; not to mention the zipper being on the "wrong" side. This vest is a great option for fathers who are involved in their daughters' troops: the color matches the ones which the Badge & Sash stores sell; it takes iron-on patches well, and the pockets make it convenient to hold whatever odds and ends you end up getting handed along the way. I've had a handful of other fathers, and even a number of mothers, ask where I got it from.
