The waist on these pants was about two inches larger than normal for a 32" size and all the other Blaklader pants that I have tried. Totally bizarre. Had to return them.

Not sized like other Blaklader pants

Last year I purchased the blue service pants and they became my favorite pants. Once I saw they offered them in black, while still being the same cotton/poly mix, I jumped at the chance to order them! To my dismay, upon putting them on the waist was HUGE while the rest of the pants fit perfectly. I ordered 32x30 but the waste is at least 34 inches, possibly 35 inches. There's no way these will shrink 2+ inches since the blue service pants shrunk not even 1/2 inch. It's too bad because the pants are really nice. I love the thin fabric and stretch panels but if I jump down to a 30x30 the legs will be as tight as women's yoga pants. I'm really disappointed.

My new favorite pants

I still wear my Blaklader X1600 work pants anytime I'm in the shop or working on my car or otherwise expect to get dirty. But these... these are so darned comfortable they immediately became my daily wear match well enough that it's not noticeable to others that you're wearing multi-textured pants.Great for install work inside a clean building (great inside someone's home, less good inside a dirty warehouse), but... seriously, I've literally worn these every day for the last week.
