Great jacket, mediocre zipper

This is my favorite Carhartt jacket, very warm, very flexible, slides on over underclothes easily, just the right weight for a variety of seasons. The zipper is like one out of a cheap knockoff jacket, don't know why they can't follow this up with a high-quality metal zipper for the price they get.
