The shirt is of a thinner material than the other work shirts that we have and the collar is made/sewn in a way I have never seen before. Overall, for the quality we are used to, this shirt is cheaply made. I will give the shirts away since they will not be worn in this household.

Solid rugged shirt

I’ve been wearing those shirts for years now. Only time I ever replace them are maybe 8ish years of use when the shirts begin to fade. Never have I ever had to dispose of one due to snares. Tears, or any other work-related reasons. Great shirts well worth the money. My strongest recommendation.

Happy Husband

I got these for my retired husband who was and is a mechanic. He now just works in his shop at home. He has been wearing his old work shirts from his last company and they were getting pretty ratty. He refused to wear anything different because they were comfortable. Therefore, I went online and found these. OMG. Not only do they look and fit great, but my husband is now wearing them with pride. I could not be happier. The only complaint is the pen section in the pocket. I am having to rip out the stitching so he has a full-size pocket. Even that section is well made because it is very difficult to do.

That you get the right size

It seemed like a nice sturdy shirt but I would really like or prefer the pockets have some kind of cellphone guard. From slipping out the pocket when bending. For all shapes and sizes cellphone. Of course, you would have known this right!? For everyone owns a cellphone these days!! Now I have to put on another screen protector.

Ever hear the saying - "you get what you pay for?" This shirt exceeds this saying. For $14 dollars, these shirts (4) have performed very well for over a year. Most stains have washed out with a little prewash and scrub, including oil, but at $14 these shirts have done very well. (Bleach is bleach and there is no saving that shirt after a spill) I am still able to wear them to work every day with a professional look. I am guessing I will get three maybe four years of use.

Sizing is WAY off

I've been wearing Dickies shirts for a long time, decided to try The Red Kap... The Dickies size large fits me perfectly (short stocky guy about 5-7)... So I bought the large size of Red Kap, noticeably tighter all the way around. So then I thought okay, I'll try the extra large... That turned out to be so huge and long it looked like I was wearing a maternity gown. Quality of construction seemed good, but their sizing is way off. Seems like nobody makes fashions for shorter guys. So many companies keep thinking that the average height of the American male is 5'10 or 6 ft... Not even close. The average American grown adult male is around 5'7 to 5'8... And yet almost nobody makes fashions for shorter guys. Almost everything I purchase has to be custom-tailored so that it fits right.

These were bought for my son who was working at Home Depot and wanted some short sleeve shirts with different colors. These shirts fit very slim. The fabric is thin and very rough. Even after washing with a good fabric softener and drying with dryer sheets, the material is still scratchy. Even though they are inexpensive, I would not purchase again.

Fits and Looks Great All Day

Needing a 2x, I expected the typical too-wide shoulders and baggy look, but I am so impressed with the cut and design of this shirt, especially in this larger size. It’s made for heavy folks like me, not just an expanded version of the smaller sizes. The fabric breathes well, feels good, and looks crisp all day. I’m a fan, and I don’t usually say that.

I need the hunter green work shirts for my company, and I love these Red Kap shirts for comfort and long life. This color is quite drab, though. It displays differently on the short sleeve vs. long sleeve images on the website, and I was concerned there would be a difference in physical color as well. Luckily, there is not! But the color is a very blah green, unfortunately, and not quite a true "hunter green." Still a better value and shirt than the competition!

The only problem I have is with one button in the belly area, it keeps coming unbuttoned, but I'm not sure if I can blame that on the shirt because if my belly wasn't as big I may not have that problem. Upper back Fits small

I normally wear 2X but SP24 2X fits tight across upper back. Also, the armholes are too tight for me. Otherwise, the shirt looks good. The fabric is lightweight for summer or a hot working environment. I returned this shirt, so I can’t comment on wearability. I’ll order a 3x and make some alterations so it doesn’t look too big.

Good work shirt, easy to clean and looks good without ironing. Must be careful when leaning over as phone will fall out of pocket, cracked my screen protector twice before learning to remove or hold onto phone first. Left pocket not wide enough for Note 8 phone. Both pockets need to be deeper. Would be a much better option for pockets to be deeper along with velcro flat to help hold phone and other items in pockets securely.

Scratchy

Washed it a few times and still can't wear it without a shirt underneath. Also, there is a very prominent snap at the neck that really stands out when you're wearing it. The fit was perfect, (XXLT) I'm six-six 260 and finding a shirt that fits in the shoulders, that isn't made for someone with a 50" plus waist and is long enough, is quite difficult. It would be great if they made the shirt 100% cotton, it would be more comfortable and as an electrician, cotton doesn't melt into your skin like polyester does in case of an arc-flash accident.

This is a generic review for ALL the Red Kap shirts I have bought. I started years ago with 2X, then 3X and now 4X. The color selection is good, however some colors are not available in larger sizes. Product is as described. The quality is higher than one would expect for the price. The buttons have sufficient but minimal thread. If I had one suggestion, I would like to see the buttons with a few more threads. Then it would be 5 stars. They are good, but I am a rough on the shirts. I am still wearing shirts from 5 years ago. They seem to hold up well. For their purpose, one can not beat the value. I have ordered these shirts several times over the years. I look first to Full Source for work shirts. I plan to order more as needed. Sometimes, it can take a while to get certain size shirts in a specific color.

The only place we found

This shirt is awesome. The price is good and I could not ask for more. I got this for my Dale G. cosplay costume to wear at Halloween and cons. I would have given this a 5-star rating but it has 2 pockets and Dale's shirt only has 1 pocket. If they make a 1 pocket version of this shirt I would definitely change my review to 5 stars.
