IR Filter Lens:

IR lenses protect your eyes from UV rays and flash burns, while also offering a high level of impact-protection from flying objects associated with cutting, brazing and torch soldering. These safety glasses for welding DO NOT have the same level of protection as a helmet and should NOT be worn instead of a welding mask when arc welding.

Anti-Scratch Coating:

Anti-Scratch is a hardcoat treatment that toughens lens surface for a longer product life with fewer scratches.

Anti-Fog Coating:

Great looking but came warped and crooked.

Honestly, for the price these are really fine glasses. Living with one working eye left I wear safety glasses during many mundane tasks like driving and biking. So I buy a lot of safety glasses and I buy for a mix or reason and appearances being A number 2. These look great! Maybe a little snug but not enough to be bothersome. They did come slightly warped but I was able to bend them straight and fit well now. The only other bummer was they scratched a bit on the first drop. I was hoping for a bit more scratch resistance. But for $14 buck I have to say I'm satisfied and would buy these again.

High Quality. I retired my 30 YO Pair

I bought these to replace a pair I had since 1990. They are still intact, but have gotten loose over the years. I got the name off the temple of the glasses I had and Googled it. I bought 2 pair and gave my son one pair. I love these for all types of work where eye-wear is needed.

Old School Safety Goasses

Lenses are great. Frame is bent. One side of the frames sits lower than other. Only one side screen clips in to place. Other will not sit flush on frame. Would not purchase again.

Great Glasses

I love these glasses! In the short time I’ve had them, I’ve used them for tons of projects I’ve done! They work great, no sawdust in my eyes! I wore them when I painted the ceiling and they shielded my eyes from all the tiny paint splatters! Will probably buy another pair soon to have an extra pair on hand!

Welding

I’ve been taking welding courses and hated the safety glasses we need to wear around the shop (of course I use a dark face shield while welding too) These glasses are good looking and do their job of keeping my eyes protected! Not a terrible price for under $10 either!

Quality laser protection I can get photographed in.

I've been wearing laser protection glasses for working with computers during the day time and usually laser protective glasses look like they're taken from the set of Willy Wonka. These are solid, sturdy bendable wire, frames and look more or less like regular glasses. The mesh sides are nice but definitely not the most durable and thus require a bit of a light touch.

Safety Glasses

I have used Bouton Traditional Safety Glasses for many years and especially like the screen side shields. The side shields keep dust and dirt from getting into my eyes and the screens help keep the lenses from steaming up. I was able to take the frames into my local optical store and have them fitted with prescription lenses.

Regarding fit these are great glasses for someone who needs shorter temples. Great with filter masks because the air flow througth the side screens prevents fogging. I've tried many different safety glasses and these are my favorite.
