Quality for less

These are really nice and durable, I just bought 2 more pairs for backup. The first pair is over a year old, and the lenses are still good not scratched up. A very good product.

Full lens readers. No bifocals

These lenses ARE THE BEST! Those of us who need diopters to assist vision, need more than a tiny dot (like in bi-focal) to focus on when doing extended small center-of-focus work requiring the best in optical quality safety lenses. Don’t mess around, get these safety glasses! You’ll be pleased with their performance!

The reader safety glasses so far

I ordered these in an effort to find a pair of safety glasses that I could wear all day and still use to see prints, schematics, etc. I had used the “diopter “ type for a couple of years and they just really weren’t working for me because of the small size of the diopter. With these glasses, I am able to set them a little lower on my nose to see distance during times of low eye safety risk and then quickly move them to normal position for seeing detail especially during times of high eye safety risk. I am required to wear them at all times on the job site so they need to be comfortable as well, this wear they are a little bit lacking. They are a little on the heavy side and pinch slightly behind the ears, otherwise they are a dramatic improvement over the standard “diopter “ type safety glasses.

Exactly as Advertised

Great Safety Glasses

These safety glasses are probably the best I've ever had. I got these especially for the full reader lenses, which are hard to find. They fit perfectly -- snugly but not overly tight. They seem very sturdy, & after about a month of wear, the lenses have not sustained any noticeable scratches (I try to be careful). I would recommend these to anyone.

Well made. I was fooled by the picture, thinking that there was an effective shield across the top of the frame. Not so, but my fault. The glasses deserve a 5, but got a 4 based solely on my mistake.

Super Comfortable

These safety glasses are really comfortable and having them be full lens readers makes a huge difference in the shop! I cannot work without them. One other aspect of note is the fact that they have side shields this makes a big difference in keeping dust out of the eyes and has meant I no longer need to use goggles over them.

Finally- Safety glasses with reader lenses

Based on reviews, the product image, and the product description I purchased two pair of these safety glasses. One is 3x for close work on electronics, such as fine detail soldering. These cause things to appear enlarged and in focus for me up to about 15" away. The second pair is 2x for small woodworking and machining projects. These cause things to appear slightly enlarged and in focus up to about 24". The shape of the glasses wraps around the eye area to form a good barrier to flying debris. Bi-focal type safety glasses have been around for a very long time. These are the glasses with a small reader type magnifier lens inset in a large 1x lens. I need readers to see well at all distances so those large, bulky, 1x lenses do not work well for me. The PMX safety readers are just right for my eyes and the type of up-close work I tend to do!
