Big Jake's legacy of durable gloves now extends to their garment collection. The Big Jake II series, flame-resistant and constructed from PVC / Nomex material, is reminiscent of the original Big Jake Rainwear but with a lighter build and a higher calorie rating. The BJ238CH 49-inch coat boasts a sturdy zipper front with snap-over flaps, an oversized, adjustable drawstring hood, a stand-up collar, adjustable hook and loop wrist closures, and two front patch pockets. Its fluorescent lime background and two-inch silver reflective stripes adhere to ANSI 107 Class 3 standards for high-visibility safety. It also meets the ASTM F1891 Standard Specification for Arc and Flame Resistant Rainwear and ASTM F2733 Standard Specification for Flame-Resistant Rainwear for Protection against Flame Hazards. The BJ238CH achieves an HRC2 / CAT2 ARC rating with an Arc Thermal Performance Value (ATPV) of 11 cal/cm2. Be seen and be safe in MCR Safety’s Big Jake Hi-Vis FR rainwear.

The reason I like this rain jacket so much, is the fact that I don’t have to wear rain pants! With the duster style rain jacket I won’t sweat near as much, as I would if I had the pants on!
