A Decent Product, but Probably Not for Working in a Refrigerated Environment

As the title says, I feel this hard hat is decent but nothing spectacular.
I work as a machine operator and safety lead in a large refrigerated building where it is always 44°F or lower, and I bought this hat because I was promoted to Safety and needed a green hat for my new position.
I previously used the ERB Americana vented white cap-style hard (#19454) hat and was VERY pleased with it. Well, I searched for "ERB Americana green" and was directed to Full Source, where I purchased this one thinking it was the exact same-- my fault for not looking more closely, so I can't really complain about that.
It's my experience though, that this particular style of hat does not do well in the sustained cold, as my job is pretty physical at times and I still manage to get hot, especially under my hard hat. The vented cap was excellent, but by comparison, this one is not for me. My head sweats a lot and because it is so cold at my work, a lot of condensation forms on the inside of my hard hat and sometimes will drip down into my face, which is really uncomfortable in the cold.
My other complaint is this hard hat seems more cheaply made and not as durable as the other. I haven't actually measured it, but the circumference of the hat feels smaller. And even though I use my own ratchet suspension and earmuffs that connect to the side, I find the hat just doesn't seem to sit straight all the time or when I move my head a certain way or bump it on something, the hat moves quite a bit at times.
For the price, I guess its a good deal, but for me, as far as functionality is concerned, it just doesn't do the job. The strange part to me is Americana vented 19454 comes in 8 colors but their "green" this strange lime green/yellowish color that looks more like the color of a softball vs. the darker, more hunter green like this one, which is what I need for work. Every job I've had in these type of industries, safety inspector wears a dark green hard hat, so why would it not be available in the vented version???
Just my $0.02. To end on a positive note though, this was my first time to buy from Full Source and I was very pleased. I ordered this hat on a Thursday night around 8pm, paid for only the standard ($2.99?)shipping, and it was at my house on the following Monday afternoon. This is even better than my experience with Amazon and other online companies! Since it was really my own error for choosing the wrong hat that I thought was like my last one, I'll definitely be using Full Source in the future!

I purchased the ERB Americana hard hat, mainly because of its reputation and price. I needed a lightweight, and durable hard hat that would last. I was surprised at the overall quality and how easy the four-point suspension was to fit and adjust. If you're on the fence I highly recommend this hat.
