The Chill-Its® 6700CT Cooling Bandana incorporates cutting-edge PVA cooling technology to provide relief during periods of intense heat. This lightweight and low-profile bandana is ideal for wearing around the neck or beneath hard hats. The adjustable tie closure at the back ensures a comfortable, secure fit for various head sizes.
Heat-related illness continuously ranks among the top causes of worksite accidents and fatalities. Evaporative cooling technologies such as PVA (poly vinyl acetate) are a simple, effective and comfortable solution for heat stress prevention. Similar to how sweat cools the body, evaporative technologies use an external water source to draw heat away—helping to regulate body temperature while providing cool relief. When activated, this PVA cooling bandana is comfortable and refreshing for even the hottest days of the year.
HOW TO ACTIVATERun under water for one minute to activate instant cooling relief that lasts for up to four hours. The PVA will retain water without bulk or residue. Machine wash as needed and hang to dry. Note that PVA materials stiffen as they dry. Simply run under water to reactivate and soften.
Ideal for construction, landscaping, roofing or anyone working in the heat. It also makes a great headband for running, hiking and other recreational activities.

When first put on it is ice cold but quickly loses its cooling abilities due to being tight against the skin. when hanging loosely around the neck it is cooling but wrapped around the head for more than a few minutes does not feel at all cool.
