HW100 and HW200 Auto Darkening Welding Helmets with Shade 10 and Selectable Shade 9-13 Protection Competitively priced, and perfect for the part-time welder or hobbyist, the HW100 and HW200 Auto Darkening (ADF) welding helmets incorporate high-quality filters with a sleek and lightweight helmet shell. When a welding job requires more than a standard passive filter, ADF helmets provide greater protection, superior comfort and eliminate the need for constant adjustments, allowing for more time spent welding. The Honeywell HW100 and HW200 welding helmets provide excellent performance with ADF technology, a lightweight shell and sleek design. Upgrading to ADF technology can help increase worker production and weld quality. A welding helmet equipped with an ADF filter can help to eliminate strain caused by constant lifting and nodding to check a weld. With a light state of Shade 3 (HW100) or Shade 4 (HW200), these welding helmets offer a clear view of the work area during set-up as well as pre- and post-fabrication activities. Immediately upon arc strike, the ADF will darken to Shade 10 (HW100) or to a selected shade in the 9-13 range (HW200), allowing for a consistently clear view of the welds, without repeated lifting of the welding helmet.
For more advanced welding applications, the HW200 helmet features solar-powered, adjustable Shade 9-13 ADF technology, as well as sensitivity and delay adjustments for customizable filter settings. Ideal for more experienced welders requiring a wider shade selection, the HW200 helmet offers more comprehensive features and benefits including:
- Grind Mode functionality that ensures the ADF will not darken when used during clean-up work.
- Sensitivity adjustment that gives the wearer the option to adjust the filters sensitivity to avoid unwanted darkening from ambient light conditions.
