Ensure that your authority is recognized with the Full Source PSV ANSI Type P Class 2 compliant public safety vest. This vest includes a five-point breakaway design, the words POLICE, EMS, or FIRE written vertically twice on the front and once horizontally on the back, and two mic tabs. It has four pockets in total, including one outer lower right pocket, one outer left chest pocket, one outer right chest clear ID pocket, and one inner lower left pocket. All four pockets are secured with Velcro closure tabs.

Works somewhat

Vest seem fine, got the 3X-4X size and it is not huge. I mainly bought the vest to hold a Motorola radio when I do not have turnout gear on (some medical calls), but our radios are Motorola digital APX 8000 with large batteries and they do not fit very well in the vest. Almost half of the radio sticks out. Why anyone would buy such huge radios is a mystery but will make it work.

Safety vest

This vest made a difference the first time I used it. I am a Correctional Officer and my unit on the far end of the compound. it makes the tower see me a lot better and just the word POLICE on the vest put the inmates in check. This vest is way batter then what I was issued and I like that if inmate were to grab the vest it will come off me without having me dragged to the ground.
