This protective insert can convert nearly any baseball cap into a bump cap. By seamlessly fitting into the cap, the plastic insert offers some protection against minor bumps, ideal for low hazard worksites where ANSI-rated head protection is not required.

Bought 2 of these Baseball Cap Protective shells because I have just put a hoist in the shop. At six foot two I have already saved my head more than once. These shells are a great fit in good quality caps and are very comfortable while wearing them.

I received a full coverage hard shell insert, for my baseball cap, from my nephew. Super nice. The ones I ordered (here) was only 3/4 coverage. Still works and I'll keep all four I bought. I still prefer full coverage. I still give it at least 3 stars.
