Just right

They’re nothing too fancy however they do a great job muffling sounds, they fit my son’s head nicely (he’s 7, with a slightly large-ish melon), we especially like the folding feature, he can stow them in his backpack for when he needs them. Very worth the price and the shipping took exactly as long as it said it would.

Great for mowing

Unbelievable value at this price! Very comfortable and effective. I was concerned that the 23db protection would not be sufficient, but the muffs mute firearm reports very well (to a comfortable level). I also note that it makes human voice virtually inaudible, but I think that is probably a fair trade off. I understand there are electronic muffs that selectively mute loud sound, but allow voice however a much higher priced product.
