The Radians SV83 is a short sleeved standard Type R Class 3 safety vest for enhanced night time visibility. Basic pockets and zip front closure for increased functionality.

Class 3 safety vests are designed to protect the worker with maximum visibility. These vests are designed with the most hi-viz material coverage and reflective stripes for workers exposed to complex work environments. Class 3 vests are required in environments with high-speed traffic, high-risk environments and where the worker must be visible through a full range of motions at a minimum of 1280 feet (390 meters).

Tell somebody if you have a tall option

Well, you would think there would be an option for a tall guy. This thing is way too short, I will not be wearing it. I wish there had been more details.

Class 3 surveyors vest

Bought items of similar price and looks but not Radians. Rad-SV63G is the best value for the money and quality for the money, will purchase again.

Wish size Small was available

I would give this 5 stars, but since the vendor was not selling size Small, we had some unhappy folks. Otherwise, a 5-star product of very high quality.

Great vest for the money

These vests are great for the money. We especially like the fact that there is a clear see-thru pocket for our badges. I have ordered 12 of these as the guys on our job liked them so much they asked me to order them all one. These are high visibility as stated and great for construction, not just surveyors. They also wash up nicely. I defiantly recommend this product.

Good Vest

I bought this for snow blowing my driveway and walking the dog at night. I usually wear a 2x but bought a 4x to fit over bulky coats and parka. I probably could have gotten away with a 3x. The many pockets on the vest come in handy for cell phone, gloves, hat, and doogy poop bags. Overall I like the vest and am thinking of buying a smaller one for summer wear. I do have two negatives about the vest; 1) it is very warm even with the mesh backing. 2) The reflective tape is not very reflective (at least when I shined a flashlight on it). So far I have not had any issues with cars not seeing me. The bright yellow stands out even in the dark but it is never far from my mind that the tape does not seem to reflect.
