Approximately 33% of head injuries that occur in the workplace are due to impacts that transpired when the worker did not have any headgear on*. This type of incident may happen in narrow work areas or places with limited vertical clearance, where overhanging pipes or shelves can pose a danger. The HardCap Aerolite represents an improvement from the well-known JSP HardCap A1+, delivering impact protection and complying with the EN812 standard. It is the most exceptional lightweight bump cap available in the market, weighing less than 5 ounces.

- The protective HDPE liner is removable, so the outer cap is fully washable with a plastic brim

Applications
Designed as a safeguard against accidental bumping or scraping of the head. Ideal in areas where hard hats are not required. Bump caps are NOT designed for use in ANSI designated hard hat areas.
Care Instructions
The liner may be cleaned with soap and warm water and dried with a soft cloth. Chemical or abrasive cleaners should not be used. The cover is machine washable to 104°F/40°C maximum. The cover can be tumble dried on a low setting only. This product should be stored out of direct sunlight, away from chemicals and not exposed to extremes or temperature.

Lightweight and comfortable, but the red liner is not secure at all and falls out easily. Velcro is ineffective.

Very light and comfortable. Lots of ventilation. The only thing I see that may be a problem is the elastic headband in the back. It seems to be pretty flimsy and I expect that will be the thing that fails. Make that more substantial, or a non-elastic strap and it would be a 5-star item.
