We use these for directing parking at a Haunted house so use them rain or shine... After many years experience with them, I have found these weatherproofing tips helpful....1 run a small bead of clear silicone or even just plain school glue where the red cylinder meets the black handle and 2 untwist the battery compartment and put a light coat of petroleum jelly on the threads. There ya go! All sealed up and good for several years!

Great light. Lightweight. Had a few problems in heavy rain. On and off switch would not work properly. After drying out was fine.
