Great Jacket

My favorite jacket

I have owned my first jacket for about ten years and it’s the best all-weather jacket. It’s never too hot and it protects against strong wind and precipitation. This new one is just as high quality.

Lighter weight everytime I buy one

I have had 4 of these team jackets in the past 17 years. I have noticed that as the years have went on, the jackets have overall become lighter and lighter with the main issue being the inner liner being thinned out. I used to be able to wear this jacket 10 months out of the year and stay warm - that is no longer the case. Another issue is that in each of the four jackets, a tear at the seam developed on the left top shoulder - a separation of the stitching that holds the shoulder together. 4 jackets, 4 left shoulder stitching separations - can't be a coincidence. Another issue is that the pockets went from zippered to non-zippered (front pockets & inside pocket). The zippers kept items securely in place. I'm not sure if I will buy another JP56 Team Jacket. Raise the price rather than cutting the cost to the point where you lose the customer.
