The Chill-Its® 6700CT Cooling Bandana features polymer crystal cooling technology for relief in extreme heat. Lightweight and low-profile, this comfortable cotton bandana is perfect for wear around the neck or under hard hats. A tie closure in the back makes for an adjustable, snug fit on a variety of head sizes.
Heat-related illness continuously ranks among the top causes of worksite accidents and fatalities. Evaporative cooling technologies such as polymer crystals are a simple, effective and comfortable solution for heat stress prevention. Similar to how sweat cools the body, evaporative technologies use an external water source to draw heat away—helping to regulate body temperature while providing cool relief. When activated, this cooling head wrap is comfortable and refreshing for even the hottest days of the year.
HOW TO ACTIVATESoak in water for 2-5 minutes to activate. The embedded polymer crystals will retain water for up to four hours of cooling relief. Be careful not to over activate as that may cause the bandana to“plump up” to a size where it is no longer able to be comfortably worn. Hand wash as needed and hang to dry.
Ideal for construction, landscaping, roofing or anyone working in the heat. It also makes a great headband for running, hiking and other recreational activities.

Unfortunately, the soccer team did not like these. As a matter of fact, I have about 5 with tags because they didn't even want to open the rest. The fabric is not stretchy and the gel inside got so big that the kids felt it was too much weight for them to keep on their foreheads plus there was no real shape to them so they kept having to adjust. They do stay cold though thats for sure.

It doesn't hold the amount of water I expected. It dries out too quickly in Arizona's dry climate. But I suppose if you're living in a hot humid climate, it might be acceptable.

I expected the cooling portion of the scarves to be larger. The total length of the cooling beads portion was less that 6 inches. We expected them to be large enough to cover the entire back of the neck.

Ordered these for myself, working in an open air restaurant in Florida where it gets 120 on the line some nights. Ordered a couple dozen blue ones for my co-workers and they're alot cooler on the line. Believe me they work so good they'll make your knees buckle.
