Update On Newer Model

The original jacket with the knitted cuffs and waistband walked away one day. Ordered the new model. It arrived quickly. Positives: same solid quality construction, bigger outer pocket for cell phone and straps added for radio mike. Negatives: the stretchy pile liner material grabs long shirt sleeves and balls up inside the cuffs much, making it impossible to get on quickly. Much worse than the previous design. Removed the liner and now just use as a shell. Though an XL, the neck is smaller, cannot fully zip the jacket closed. A disadvantage in windy weather. The old model did zip fully. Overall a step backward with the liner design and too tight neck.

Wonderful Jacket

Received this wonderful jacket for my birthday to ride safely and be seen on my motorcycle. Ordered a medium and I am an average built female. I love this jacket, it's warm and fits well. I wanted mine for visibility on my bike. I would order it again. Thanks

Liner And Cold Notes

Initially had same problems as first reviewer with liner slipping out of cuffs a bit. Just tucked em back in, now no problem. The cuffs, waistband, and turtle neck make effective seals against cold. Though for serious cold weather (AK, MT, etc) would go with xxl for layering.

Very Poor Liner Design

The liner is loose and does not fit inside the jacket very well. The wrist is elastic of the liner is way too tight and when put the jacket on the liner slides out of the jacket sleeve. The shell is not bad but it is supposed to be a lined jacket for colder weather. I would not recommend this jacket to anyone. I plan from purchasing another manufacturer.
