These lenses have a fiery mirror finish that helps reflect glare, achieved by infusing the clear lens with anti-reflective ions instead of using a layered approach. This optical technology is identical to what NASA uses for helmet visors and satellite portholes. The lens allows 13% of light to pass through it.
